what amount of $$ is added to the cost of an otherwise plain jane cue if the customer wants a full compliment of fancy SW style rings?

It would cost less money to have a new cue built. Another problem is finding a cuemaker to copy SW. I, WOULD NOT. Those guys worked hard for there design, I would consider it there's. However, some don't mind coyping others.[taking the easyway out, in my opinion].

i think he was asking what makers charge to add rings to an order, not to an existing cue...

here's a real answer: Andy Gilbert charges $100 to add rings @ABCDE, in a few styles. One of the styles is somewhat like SW (veneer drop-ins, a lot of cuemakers do this), not exact though. The other style I've seen on his J/B's is kinda Bushka-esque.

I have to agree with Blud about copying SW exactly, that's a little lame. Just ask your cuemaker what's available and hopefully something will work for you.
