Ring tail lizard wrap

Excuse me but how did he hijack this thread? The thread was about how happy he was with the results of one of Petree's ring-tailed lizard skins. It ended up moving in the direction of Unique's wrapping jig but that is not what the thread was about. I don't know if it's supposed to be this way but what I have found is that the Wanted/sale section is all cues and cases and usually if anyone has any cue related parts or machines for sale they have been posted here.

I believe there is some confusion here. I was the one who originally started the thread about how happy I was with the ring-tailed lizard skins and Unique's jig. LCCS Ron tapped in on my thread wanting to sell something that was not related to anything we were discussing. I'm not trying to say anything negative about LCCS Ron. I just didn't feel it was an appropriate place for him to plug something on my thread. He really should have started his own thread. As a courtesy to others, isn't that how it should work in this forum?

I believe you have something wrong here. Your first post was about how good the the lizard wrap, that you got from JW Petree, turned out and what people thought of it. There was no mention of technique you used until Cuedog inquired what technique you used to wrap the cue. This was the 10th response by the way. The 11th response was from Billiardbum saying he thought you used one of their machines. That is when this thread got moved into that direction. Never the less, the main thread was started, and continues as Ring tailed lizard wrap.

If this thread was about Unique's wrapping machine and discussing it's merits and some one comes along and says don't look at that machine but look at mine instead, then I would consider that as high jacking and inappropriate. In this case though, since the thread was not about Unique's machine but about a lizard wrap, then I don't see where there is any problem. He didn't knock the Unique in any way that I saw. I don't believe there is such a thing anywhere on the internet as your own personal thread unless maybe on your own web-site where you can delete messages you don't like. I believe this is a public forum here.

Just my 2 cents worth as it really doesn't affect me one way or another but I thought you were being a little high handed with the person who's response you didn't like, telling him to take his comments to a different forum when in actuality it is your thread that is on the wrong forum.

You know what Dick, I appreciate your 2 cents, even though this has nothing to do with you. It's my bad. This is an open forum and bottom line, I simply ment for LCCS Ron to post his sale under wanted/for sale. As to your comment, it was noted in the first post, last photo that I may have posted in the wrong forum.
