Ripped off for the first time! By random944t

In random's defense it does seem as though they have benn a victim of circumstances and appear to be trying to make this right . A tracking number or $400 back in my Paypal would go a long way to making me feel all better.

As far as the slanderous remarks go , I was told by the local chief that you had a lengthy record . He would not disclose the details other than it was mostly misdemenors and a felony. If I made it seem like more than that I'm sorry. I also hope that you appreciate the fact that I told him to hold up on filing more charges against you with the hope that we could get this matter resolved amicabilly. I don't want to have to compound your legal problems. I hope that you are able to obtain the best possible legal defense because it sounds like your gonna need it.

I would appreciate it if you would rectify our situation ASAP with money or a tracking number. That way I don't have to keep bothering your mom. (She seems like a nice lady.)

Eric and I spoke breifly a few moments ago and the rug will be in route in a day or two. Please provide tracking info as soon as you can. I hope things work out for you. It really sounds to me that you should speak with a different attorney than the one you have even if it were a public defender. Most great attorney's paid their dues working in the defenders office for a few years. Think of the TV series Shark...

I have plenty of experience working/racing with 994t's. For the same money invested I could have (and have had) a faster/more capable car 10 different ways. Plus they're 80's and ugly. To each his own though. :D

Thats funny, becuase in NASA tracks the 944's seem to rule. And they are sexy cars.
 
Let's get back on point. Did your buddy bring you the rug yet. If he can't bring it down so that you can get it shipped out by Monday how bout you just give me back my money. $400.00 Really shouldn't be a problem for a guy that drives a Porsche.
 
I've decided that it is important to put a reasonable timeline on this. I want the rug or the Money by next Monday or I'll have no choice but to file charges that I'm sure in your current situation would be cause for them to revoke your bail and reincarcerate you. I think we would both like to avoid this situation. The ball is in your court.
 
There will be no charges its a civil matter, plus my court case will be over in 7-14 days anyways. The rug is in my hands, I will ship it tonight if I can make it to UPS or tomarrow Depending on time line.

Larceny is a felony when the item (my money) is valued at more than $250.

Punishable by up to 5 years in state prision or 2 years in House of Correction.

Your stupid. I sent the rug and left a TRACKING number with someone at your work who SWORE youd get it. They said you where reherstering cars or something. I do not do well with threats and you treating me is and was uncalled for. Larceny is based on intent{can you PROVE i ment to rip you off? I do not think so}, and I had no intent to delay sending you your item. SO please do not be stupid and threaten me. Is that clear enought for you, and yes I did speak to my lawyer on this.
 
It was not threatning you. I have not been back to work since noon yesterday so how would I know that. A Larceny charge will stick.

Larceny has 3 elements and until I get the rug what you have done meets all of them.

1) The suspect took or carried away

2) The money or property of another

3) With the intent to deprive the person of their property.

You should get a better Lawyer his advice is poor.

Most credit cards have zero tolerance for fraud. I got ripped off $1800 on a SouthWest on ebay. I used paypal with my credit card. I logde a complaint with the CC and got all my money back. Paulybatz hit it right on the head "ALWAYS USE YOUR CC and NEVER KEEP MONEY IN PAYPAL EITHER!". Thats what I do too.
