Shooters once again had a fine event.
In the end Bernardo Chavez (king Kong) won the event from the losers
side. 13-11 I believe was the final score. Chavez was down in the set
8-3 at one time. In the end he was firing them in from everywhere like the
pockets were buckets. Both guys played very well.
I cant remember all the spots but here is what i think is correct

1- King Kong
2- Johannes K. from Finland
3- Alex Loaingco
4- Dave Hemmah
5/6 Corey Harper
Dave Nakano
7/8 Fach Garcia
Don McClelland
9-12 John Bryant
Randy Piquoi
Marshall Jung
Damien Alishan

I believe this is correct but I apologize for an error or a misspelling of
a name. 13-16th also paid but I olny know one of those guys and thats
me. They had 68 total players and all in all I thought the tables were
playing really well and tough.
I play there about once a month and I thought the tables were a little tougher than usual. Not sure what could cause that but then again it
could have just been me.
This was a Pechaur Tour event with Carissa Biggs running the show.
I thought the event ran smoothly. I had a long satruday playing pretty much 9.5 hours straight through but I had some 9-7 and 9-8 matches.
The entry is not real steep at $40 after you pay your $15 tour fee for the year.
I am sure Shooters will have its annual Labor Day weekend event which is
always a great event. Check it out
