Just a thought. If anyone needs help contact G ala PM and he can post the situation-fix on a dedicated thread. with no replies. Nobody can comment. No disputes. No going off subject. Something like this sound possible? Constructive replies please. If you are not a fan of Glen simply do reply. Thanks. Frank

If AZB did that for Glen, then AZB would have to do it for others. That would fair then.

But I think he is happy doing the Facebook and YouTube.
 
Some things are better left off AZB. Glen fields calls and has a YouTube channel and a Facebook page dedicated to displaying and educating proper table work. If you have the need you can call him, check him on YouTube/FB or search the information he dropped here. I for one do not miss the constant bickering and incessant desire to get the last word in. It's a shame a few members (grown men mind you) do not have it in them to admit they are wrong or simply bow out of a conversation. The passive-aggressive BS was the worst of it. I'll never understand why some folks can't have a civil online conversation.

How do you know he is Happy... maybe he's Grumpy. Thread served its purpose. Glen will decide to return or not. As for unfair… fair enough .. it can be for others. That way there is no direct contradiction or confrontation. I like the idea. All mechanics in good standing can have their corner. Nobody has to agree or disagree. Most of us here know who to turn to regardless. Table owners with issues will figure out who the quality players are.

Got it.. was just a thought. Realistically Glen sets the standard for knowing what to do and share. My idea was for anyone with a situation to privately contact Glen and he can come back here with the Problem/Resolution. Nobody can reply ...that alleviates any negative posting.

Maybe he does. I would not get involved here if the door was shut. Perhaps Glen's not ready to come up for air. Regardless he's the foremost authority. Do we want him back. I certainly do. Other's do. The little things he helped me out with were big. Anyway... nice side car.. I love it

I'd like to stay on subject and not go into who/why/is is banned. I mentioned my intentions. If you want Glen to post feel free to request that he posts in a strictly constructive fashion. Not your kinda person use Ignore. I have no connection with Glen other that I can contact him if I have a situation. We are not personal friends. I do not know anything about him other that he has answers and is approachable. As for banned... I said I would not start the thread if he was locked out. If he does comes back he is obligated to abide by the rules of common courtesy and the house rules. Break them and we're out side looking in. I got booted for a short period. I was pissed but I learned it's not my house.
If you had personal problem with him...please keep it personal. Your dealings with him did not click...please post on a review thread not here...I'm politely asking. Thank you

I'd like to see him back. I read through a lot of his post history as I was installing my GC and learned a ton. When I couldn't find something it was easy enough to give him a call and ask the question.

I don't do facebook, nor do I think it's the best place for him to share the knowledge he wants to share. YouTube is a good idea, but people will still have questions so this site can be a good place for those questions to be asked and answered publicly.

I've heard that he did get banned. He was being an unhelpful ass on a thread I created.

To be fair, I was as well, but only after he inserted his "authority" and told me there was nothing that could be done to improve my table. I was just looking for ideas.
