Purpose

Confusion may have been the outcome, but the purpose was for all of us to enjoy a great match while it was in progress.

:-) I guess so. I was having a bad moment and clicked on the thread expecting news about Robb Saez and Jesse Bowman.

Jose does not equal Jesse though. At least not that I have ever known it to be.

I don't think Jesse Padilla is in his early 50's. Late 50's maybe early 60's probably. Used to play all right. Used to be on the slim side, spoke English as well as any American and had a penchant for wearing one of those cloth nail bags that you tie behind your back to keep trousers clean and chalk free. Jesse Padilla's son plays one hole.

The Jessie side wanted to play at Hollywood Billiards and the Saez side was willing to play one set in Hollywood but also wanted to post another set to be played at Sharpshooters in Miami. No action. Things appear to not be dead though and something may happen next week.

I heard the guy in his 50's is jessie chavez and he has recently beat players in south florida and rodney morris at Capone's. He is supposed to be an amazing player who is in Orlando playing out of Jimmy's. He is playing so well he is destroying his action.
