I talked to the local UPS where he lives in Guntersville Alabama and Nothing was sent by him. What I'm trying to get out of this is that maybe one of you guys know him or live in that area and could talk some sense into him. Let him know that this is not worth it. I made a mistake by trusting him but you'd like to think that there is some kind of ethics amongst us AZ'ers.
Any help would be very much appreciated at this point. This is a terrible thing to happen especially right before Christmas.

Greg, This is beyond disgusting. You and I traded cues recently with no problem and I later bought a shaft from you. I will vouch for your integrity to anyone! Even though I'm quite new to AZ (I have more transactions than Itrader responses), you, gkloop, genphideaux, and others represent the type of civility and humanity present on this forum.
The cue that you sent in good faith, if nothing good comes of this complaint should be listed as a stolen cue and the other party banned to protect everyone. I don't think that is too much to ask. If we all have to
subscribe to escrow because of dirtballs in our midst, it's a sad day. I sincerely hope that this is all a misunderstanding and you are made whole.

We spoke on the phone, e-mail, etc. I would vouch for your integrity to anyone! You, gkloop, genphideaux, and others are what make AZ such a great place. It's hard to find more civility and humanity elsewhere. If this situation doesen't get resolved, I think the right thing is for AZ to report the cue you sent as stolen.
This along with a no-brainer bad Itrader would protect others. The better solution would be that this was just a misunderstanding. Otherwise, we ALL have to think seriously about escrow, and isn't that a terrible statement to contemplate?
 
Watching this one with interest. I was thinking about offering on his Webb, but now.... hummmm?

Greg, sorry to see that you got rimmed. i got hosed by "turbo billiards" " joe walters" from Kansas City, Mo. in Feb. he had a perfect ten rating. stiffed me on a Predator S.P. i had a federal cop looking for him. never did find him. hope things turn out better for you. Ron
 
Wtf!!!

I can say this type of stuff is getting really old. Greg is one of the good guys here and I really hate to hear of guys doing things like this to a stand-up guy like Greg.
I hope this ass-clown makes things right.

Bad Deals

Sorry to hear about these bad deals.

I will say that I just bought a Gilbert J/B cue from Chris Wood about a week ago, and it turned out fine. Nice cue and understated description for how good it is. Weird that he is being a stiff now.

Roach- Also, I know "Turbo Joe", he is a dork but not known as a theif. I have done a bunch of deals with him, in person tho. I can not believe that any fed couldn't find him, as he is not probably sneaking around and hiding over a deal gone bad for a couple hundred bucks. If I see him I will ask him what is going on.

I got a call last night, Chris Wood is trolling around facebook and AZ trying to buy cues. Just to let you know, especially the folks around Guntersville, Alabama where he is from. BEWARE, he is 100% a Conman and Thief. Most likely he is right here on AZ using an alias name, when he robbed me he was cuefan86. His name is Chris Wood .
Please watch out for him.
