Anyone from that area know if Ronnie {Julio} Castanzio (sp?) is still playing?
I haven't heard anything of Ronnie in several years. Seemed like every year I saw him, he was getting better. He was a regular player in the New York State 9 Ball Championships in Binghamton for years. The last I heard of him was when he and the owner of a pool room in Rochester were mugged in the parking lot after hours.

Ron Casanzio used to regularly frequent Classic Billiards West in Rochester. I’m in there at least twice a week but personally have not seen him there in over 2 years. He is still talked about as being the best in the city in 9 ball and one pocket.

Thanks, Paul. Ronnie is one of the guys from that area that I really miss seeing play, at least a few times a year. Don't remember seeing his name on the Turning Stone bracketts and that strikes me as odd, unless he has quit playing or just couldn't get off from work.
