re: 3/8x10 shaft

I have one 3/8x10 wood shaft.

29"inch length
1/2"inch solid black collar
4oz total weight
13mm at ferrule
22mm diameter at collar edge
Canadian Rock Maple

Tip is ok, should be dressed
Ferrule lots blue chalk

Otherwise, shaft is clean and straight top to bottom.

It's original to my 1990 cue butt
20+ years old approximately.

if you're interested, I'll post a few photos.

let me know

Do yourself a favor and clean the ferrule with whitening toothpaste. Use a cheap toothbrush, or equivalent brush,
to scrub the ferrule that may require 2-3 cleanings. The ferrule should clean up. How much varies with the chalk
stain but it will look a lot better. Just be sure to keep the toothpaste off the wood & wipe it clean with a damp cloth.

Curbside appeal means a lot when it comes to cues. This shaft improved quite a bit in appearance
and 4 ozs. is a great weight for a flat faced wood shaft. Ever try glass burnishing a linen cue wrap?

I do that to my 5 pool cues that have Cortland linen. I also periodically clean those wraps when soiled.
It can become very arm tiring when done correctly but it makes a real difference on how the wrap feels.
