Rocky Tillis cue?

It definitely looks like his work. He was one of the first to use half ss joints, and he often made cues with a plain maple forearm and inlays in the butt. My vote is Yes :)
 
Kewl, I recently seen a true, "no point" , Tillis cue with similar ringwork for $3,800 on "another" cue site, and thought it might be a hoax.
 
If that is a Tillis, and it was made in 1975, and its truly a half joint ss, what's that say about the half joint design?

Rocky Tillis usually signed his cues under the rap. It looks just like a Tillis I had but mine did not any designs in the butt.
