a local guy has this roger allen cue. All he knew about it was it was from a guy in texas and he's had it for about 20 years give or take.


He wanted me to list it and get some information and possibly sell it. Im doing this for him since he bought a cue off of me. Please help identify and inform me of anything you know about this cue/cuemaker . thanks

Roger Allen cue

Roger Allen is a well known cuemaker in the Houston,Tx. area. One well known pro player he does/did? work for is Jeremy Jones. I'm not sure about the cue shown in the pic.

P.S. I'm new to this forum, and i don't know how to post messages, at this point all i know is to reply.
 
I'd be interested in trying it. Can you post specs and price range you are looking for it?
I have heard of that cue maker. Not the top notch but, has a solid reputation.
 
I own one......dont send cue to roger for any work....he has had my cue for a refinish over 2 years

specs...i don't have the cue, its not mine. I'm just listing it for a friend at a local pool room. he doesn't play out of my room.

he just purchased a barnhart off of me, and he was curious about what he could get out of his. so i told him id put it up on the forums. I'm sure he'd be open to just about anything reasonable. what is on your mind?

It's tricky to make a serious offer without any specs (to me anyway).. Straight/shaft diameters/weight? etc. Nice looking cue though.

I have just left a voicemail to contact my friend rich who has the roger allen cue.

When he returns my call i will upload his price he will take or if this price is accepted. thanks
 
Roger does good work, but he sells the cues rather cheap. I would say this cue may be worth around $200 if straight

not with 2 shafts......rogers shafts are the MEGA NUTS....he has some of the best shaft wood around...i guess because he only makes about 2 cues a year....
 
Roger came around MS in the 90's and always had a couple sneakys for sale. They played fantastic and were legendary in the area.
