?? Rolland becker 4point with ivory?

I was given this 4 point becker cue for xmas. It has a ebony forearm with paduk,tulipwood and cocobolo veneers. It has two ivory and nickle rings above and below the wrap, the butt section is ebony and ivory nickle rings.

The cue is in 90% condition except the very bottom of the butt is peeling a little bit, i would think it is easily fixed by a cuesmith.

The shaft is perfect and has 20+ rings in density, beautiful super white hard rock maple, i was told the shaft is a premium shaft of the highest quality by the people at cuecomponents.

Let me know what might be reasonable, i couldn't find any others to compare it to.

I was told he either is not making cues right now or he is making less than 10 per year.

Please give me your input?!???!??

It depends on what type of shaft you are looking to go with the cue or if you are looking at multiple shafts.
I have three shafts with the cue, I have a pre-cat 314, and the original Becker shaft and also I just bought a OB1 shaft for it.

The cue itself with the orginal shaft, I paid $580.00, in 1999, when I lived in Wellington, Colorado. He is in Pierce, Co. and you can contact him if you wanted some info on him, or what he is selling cues for now.

One thing I need to find out from Becker is what he might charge to re-finish, jut the lowest part of the butt section. My cue has some peeling of the urethane from about 1/2 inch of the butt section. Other than that the cues finish is in perfect shape.

I though that, $400.00 was very reasonable on the cue, but let me know what you think.
