Selling this Ron Thomas 1x2 case in very good used condition. Confirmed by Ron himself to be one of his. For the Thomas case collector/fan this is a rare chance to get one of his earlier cases. Estimated to be from around 1985. My last Thomas 1x2 case sold for $350+$15 plus towards shipping, so I'll start there. Case is very well built, as are all of Ron's fine cases. This one has the nice added feature of a storage pocket and secure zippered closure which most don't have. Thanks PDX for the info. Could not tell if case is vinyl or leather. Assuming it is vinyl will drop the price to $250 shipped.

When I spoke to Ron a few weeks ago, he stated he made his early cases modeled after Porper cases. These should be vinyl. He then decided to make them similar to It's George cases. I had one of these early cases, paid $30 for it. Used it to ship a cue, with the idea of having them ship my new cue back in the case. They kept the case. It didn't bother me too much, a little at the time. Enough for me not to want to deal with that person again. But these cases are just like Porper cases, so it wasn't any skin off my back.


He then made a few 1x1 tube cases, then the 1x2 and 2x4 cases we see now. My 1x1 tube case has the same vinyl lizard print.

While I'm not trying to knock your sale, these cases are nothing near the tube cases he does now. I just don't want anyone to get the wrong idea about his early cases, particularly since most have not seen these early cases.

Just trying to help educate those not in the know

I have one like this. They are nice cases.Some time ago Ron sent me written verification that yes it was his case.84-85 sounds about right as I have had mine for many years. GLWS

Decided to keep this one if not sold this week. Construction on this case is excellent. Extremely nice case. Should have been gone by now. It will be soon.
