Ron Vitello DVD

Well,

to release just as soon as possible is not the deal- better work it out perfectly so that Ron and the customers are satisfied with the final product. Nothing is more worse than a not finished product :)

i m curious about that dvd^^

That is exactly why it is not out yet, Ron flew back to Illinois to reshot some areas he thought were not as clear as he liked.
We both want it to be right and as clear and easy to understand as possible.

It's been quite a wait for Ron's DVD, however better to wait a few more weeks so that the quality is no1.
This should be an outstanding training aid as to get it right seems to be the main focus.

I talked to Ron Wednesday, he said he was going into the city to work with the graphic artist. He said he has to take extra gas in a can because of the gas shortages.
Now this morning I see they are rationing gas in NY, I do not know if that will effect his trip or not.
We will get this done but I can not say when exactly, we are trying..

Can't be helped Mark. It will be well worth the wait!

90/90 DVD Shelved!

I got a call from Ron yesterday, He told me he has decided to not release the 90/90 DVD..
It is Ron's material and it was his project, I have no control over it.
Thank you for your interest and sorry this did not work out as planned.

Hi Mark,
Thanks for your PM.
Quite dissapointed that Ron has decided not to release his DVD even though it was pretty well finished, with all of the filming and I guess hours and hours of editing involved makes me wonder why?
I don't live in the USA so private lessons arn't an option.
Anyway, maybe he'll reconsider.
Cheers

i don't want to sound like a @#$% but 90/90 is not and never was a strong system. It just a basic alignment system like the see system and nothing more. if Ron or ecks want to debate it with me and try and prove me wrong, i am here . One line is not enough and i am sure they know this.

Any system that gets you aligned properly to make the shot is a strong system. Specifically, why do you say it isn't a strong system, and what do you think is?

I belive the above quote is incorrect. As far as I understand it Ron's 90/90 does have 2 lines of referance however it's not until you piviot which gives you 2 lines.
Dave from "spiderweb.com" explained it on a web page somewhere on the web that it is the same CTE method as taught by Hal but on an angle. Maybe Dave can answer this for us.
Peace:smile:

its not possible to have a reference line after the pivot.

Not wanting to compare. I spent a little time with Ron at then SBE this past show and what he demonstrated and what I was able to do was pretty convincing to me. For lining up direct shots and banks it seemed to work fine for every shot we tried.

I am not sure exactly where any other method is stronger but certainly the 90/90 method works well and having it out on DVD would have been good for the field of ball to ball objective aiming.

I am sure Mark did a lot of work and I hope Ron reconsiders.

Wow, that really sucks! Especially for you since you put all of that time into filming.. Quite a bummer to say the least.

I am glad I do this as a hobby, and not to make a living.
I am sorry this could not come out, but I understand Ron's reasons.
Thanks

Pay up, can you please explain what you mean by "just a basic alignment system". I would think that any aiming method that gets you aligned with the shot is an alignment system. I may be confused about this. Please explain.

90/90 is basically only helpful for an almost straight in shot, after that the the system keeps getting weaker and weaker until a very thin cut. Your pretty much on your own between a thick and thin cut. Ron V has to upgrade the system. 90/90 if upgraded will turn into the half ball pivot system, its already out here. I have tried both.

The see system is a better system and it is a cte system despite what anyone says...my opinion. It also is a one line system. The key to this system is the positioning of the feet. Now for a right handed player the right foot is the base and you use left foot to position your body in the correct alignment. You must feel where to position the left foot and pointing it at the pocket gets you close. I have not purchased the system but i have figured it out by watching ecks youtube videos. This is actually a good system and i tried it on a few shots and it works. It relies on the feet and not the shadows for it to work.

Sorry, bud, but you are very mistaken on 90/90. Whatever you are doing, it can't be 90/90 because it works very well.

It relies on feet position AND on the shadows, I know, I did purchase the system.
