Amsterdamn isn't bad. If you're looking for action, jump on the 59th street bridge and head into Queens. There's usually action at Master.
Comet is good too. Just hop on 78 west and take 287 north to the Dover, Clifton exit (42?).
If you want to try further north, Castle Billiards is about a 20 minute drive from Newark in Clifton on Rte. 17 South.
And about 45 minutes to an hour from Newark is Diamond Jim's Billiards in Nanuet, NY. They have arguably the best equipment out of all of them.

dropped by and shot at amsterdam's today. Was indeed very nice, but it was also quite expensive. But I guess that's due to the fact that they're in the city.

Hey i just read this thread, i think I saw you on sunday the other day at Masters Billiards playing with your girlfriend. Your were on the snooker table and then on the pool table right?? I was going to ask you if you were looking for action, but since you were with your girl I didn't bother. I was the guy that kept moving from table to table. Yah, That was me. I was just messing around. It was an interesting one pocket game on the front table though.
