Go to Babineus. Great place,good equipment,food and players. Its in Cary, NC.
Lots of options in and around the area, with a little bit for everyone.
1. NY Billiards Cafe: GC IVs (lots), 2 12' snooker tables, and a 3 rail table. Large and spacious, equipment is in good shape. Not typically an action spot, but has good equiptment.
2. Sharky's: 7 old Olhausens that play ok, has some good action from time to time, as well as some pretty good players.
3. The Brass Tap: Yes.
4. Brown's Billiards: Grew up in Raleigh, and never went there. Don't know much about it.
5. Fat Daddy's: Just don't go there. This is the 3am fat chick of pool in Raleigh.
6. Babineaux: Like it a lot there. GC IVs, good environment, has some good players. Can probably scare up some action.
