I have a four point four veneer wrapless Bob Frey, with Rosewood points, handle and butt sleeve... pics can be seen here.
its nothing too fancy as far as customs go... but i love the rosewood, and the veneers - it has a superb hit. The sound of the hit is really really nice too, between the woods and the ivory ferrules(the ferrules were installed by Dick Neighbors...) it is like playing a nice acoustic guitar.
The description on Jcuesnthigns site says the wood is cocobola, which in itself is a type of rosewood. but the description on the website is inaccurate, as I requested rosewood and that it is the type of wood stated on actual receipt. Really don't care too much what type of rosewood it is other than curiosities sake, as I love the cue.
Please visit my website and see an African Rosewood cue along with other types http://www.triplecrosscues.com
Have a good day.
