Hello All @ a2z. I am new to this, so I am looking for some help/advice. I am designing a cue that a good friend of mine, and I will build. I have scored a really nice piece of pre ban Brazilian Rosewood, and I'm going to incorporate this wood into the cue. I was thinking about using some of this wood in the joint area/joint sleeve. Would there be any strength considerations that I should be aware of? I looked at some of the properties of this wood online, and it was stated to be much harder than maple, and harder than red oak. any useful tips welcome. Thanks to all in advance!
