Rotating Cue

I've discovered that on my final forward stroke, I'm rotating the cue toward my body. This doesn't seem to happen with practice strokes. Any thoughts? Thanks.

your tenseing up causing your wrist to flex, whitch changes the path of the cues intended stroke. Most less diciplined players do this when shooting a firmer shot, or trying to put more english on the cue ball. Loosen your grip and relax.

Focus and concentrate, I have found that when I stroke too hard I have a tendency to pull the cue into my body throwing the shot off. Keep it smooth and easy stroke only as hard as necessary to execute the proper shot with the correct English, over time step up the firmness of your stroke in increments until you reach the level of speed you feel you want.

I was inconsistant with making balls. Could not figure out why I could shoot very good and then so bad.

Not to belabor the point but after years of frustrating playing, practice, money spent on books, tapes, and CUES; I finally wised up and took lessons from a BCA certified instructor. The best money spent. Could have saved a lot of time and money if I would have done this years ago.

Take a lesson from one of these instructors

You can read about what it takes to be one here

The lessons I took gave me the stroke and consistancy that I was after.

If you can swing it Tom Simpson's school would probably be one of the best

I am planning on attending Tom's as soon as I get the opportunity.
