Rubber Grip

easy to get out if you catch it at the right time. when you notice it rolled up in your case..dont try to shove anything down there and push it to the bottom accidentally....leave it where it is and get a wire coat hanger..unravel it and make a slight hook about half the width of the tube...if you hit the center of the grip it will roll thru and you can hook the grip and pull it out. iv gotten a few napkins out of cases like that

If there was ever a picture I wanted to show, it would definitely be of the cue I have to repair. That's exactly what the customer did. Words alone just couldn't describe what the forearm looks like.

Chances are, if the butt in the case is snug enough to grab the sleeve and start rolling it then the increase in diameter as it rolls up is going to prevent the butt from coming out. It would probably lock up and need cut out.

synthetic wrap???

Are there any cue makers who use a rubber or synthetic wrap on there cues. (I mean the kind of material like John Daly uses for a golf grip)

I am going to have a lot of them coming in around the end of Nov, they are black, and tan and other nice classical colors.

I can get as many as I want, these are the best quality rubber grip you can get. For one thing, they do not rip easily even when used on a thick butt, while the ones at Mueller would.

I may offer them as an option to my break cue.

I brought my first rubber grips from Mueller. I did rip three, before I realize my fingernail was causing the rip when I stretch the grip. Hope to see those grip when you return to Virginia and the US 9 Open. If not before.

I will post some pictures after I returned from the All Japan Championship in Japan. The X Breaker is going very well in Japan now, I need to go to Japan to meet some dealers and players. I will be back around 22 Nov.

Thank you.
