Rubber mallet

All,

I need to knock down a Gold Crown III and am aware of the dowels used to line up the frame components. Rather than attempt to pry the frame apart and bugger it up I think a rubber mallet would be the best way to disassemble it. That being said, what weight mallet do you all think would be best?

The other alternative is to move the frame in one piece. About how heavy is that assembled frame?

Thanks in advance for any responses!

if you just take the slate frame off and unbolt it you can just kick them loose, if stuck then a mallet helps but seldom do you need one.

2 guys can easily carry the frame, I think size would be the only reason to take apart. (coming from a guy who is not a mechanic, but has moved his GC multiple times)
