My opponent breaks and makes let's say the 1 and 5 but scratches. They spot up and I don't like the situation but I also have a clear hit on the 1. Do I have the option to make my opponent shoot?
You may not pass if there is a clear shot and you cannot pass it back after the preceding player fouls or scratches.

Great thread! What are typical races played to in the Philippines?
All your skills come into play in 15 ball rotation. Combo's, banks, caroms, safes, kicking (no jump cues), 3 cushion. I wish Efern and Busta would put on a show somewhere in the states...like TAR. Then if you've never seen it played by top players you'd be in for a suprise. When you run a rack of 15 ball rotation you've done something. Too many are worried about whats good for TV. I say build the streams up first and it will sell to tv fast. Johnnyt
I would prefer 15ball if it were played like 10ball. I don't need to be doing math... making the balls is hard enough.
i like this action, i'd get robbed there i'm sure. well pretty sure anyways. I'm a B+ player-what ever that meanssometimes i catch a gear and get out i ran 14 the other day in rotation(that was all that was on the table) and to the best of my recollection the best i ever did, they laid easy.
So my question is for a guy like me, how or is it handicapped so i have a half a chance of winning?
There are ways to handicap games Eric. The most simplest would be the opposing player will give you a ball after the break. He'll hand you the 15 ball (depends on both players) and you only have to pocket 46 more, while he has to make 61 to win, or the most common if the skill level are extreme, where you only have to pocket 30 against let's just say, a Dennis Orcullo, who needs to sink 90 to win.
Check post # 40, I posted a money game between Dennis and Lolong, who I consider a shortstop here in the US. Lolong only has to pocket 29 points, while Dennis needs 91 to win. Jay knows Lolong's speed best, you could be a ball or 2 below or above this guy...
Another rule is the only ball you can fowl on is the cue ball. Touch the cue ball you lose your shot. Touch some other ball just put it back and keep on shooting. I don't like this but that is how they play here.
