Hey DRW,

Are you going to the player auction tonight? If you are, please give us the scoop. King Kong or Edwin Montel should be tops.

Hi cueqween,

I played really well. I had two excellent opponents. Luck of the draw I guess! Anyway, I managed to steal defeat from the jaws of victory the second match. At hill/hill, I chose to take a shot instead of playing safe. I did the one thing you should never due in those playing conditions, I hit it hard. It jarred and, as they say, the rest is history. Regardless, I had a great time. Next year I'll play in the Open and the Seniors.

It was great seeing you. I looked for your name in the results of the Women's event. Oh well, there is always next year! Best of luck to the two of you in marraige. New Years Eve????? In Vegas I bet. Please go to the BCA's. You two make a great team on or off the table. Masters or not!

I will give you those two and 3-1 and I get the field.
Thats a tough event.
I believe Atwell won it last year if I am remembering correctly.

I was going to go over for the auction tonight but the weather was bad and
my riding partner got sick.

I have a few friends there and will see if I can get a scoop after the auction.

Hey there,

It was good to see you, too! I lost in the 3rd round...went hill-hill and she broke and ran out the last rack. I shouldnt have let the match get to that point for her to be able to do that, but I do have to say that she played well. I wish I was going out to Vegas, but I just won't be going this year (oh, well). I think I will probably go next year...playing in the Masters cant be that bad, I guess! Anyway, it sounds like you had an exciting match at Valley Forge. It was very nice to see you...probably won't see you until the November Lancaster tourney, though. Until then, take care and keep hittin' em' great!

Just got back today, you probably already know this.
Montel was a no show. Chavez went for $800. Only 3 were over a $1,000. Paez top pick at 1300, followed by Jim Blakeman at 1200, who was last year's and this years winner. Now one of four back to back winners and the only 3 time winner. Tom Butler went for 1,040, who played in last years final against Blakeman.
1. Blakeman
2. Frank the Barber
3. Danny Medina
4. Paez
