Run-Out-a-Day YouTube challenge.

If you will PM me your address I'll drop a new Accu-Rack 9ball template into the mail for you Monday...

They are a different material and different geometry than the Magic Rack and they break more like a real rack because there is no skip and slide over the plastic...

They were made to mimic the friction the cloth provides... You have to break them good to get your reward and they will teach you about speed, english and angle of impact... Just like a regular rack would if you could consistently and quickly get everything frozen....

The best part is even if you get a worn out set of balls you can still freeze them... You'll find out with old balls that is sometimes not possible on the MBR.....

Just received this rack yesterday, and it's definitely going to get some use soon. I'll be attempting another go at ROaD soon, and from what I can tell so far this rack leaves the balls tightly frozen. I look forward to getting some more time to test it over the next couple weeks, and with different sets of balls.

Thank you Renfro, and I'll be keeping you posted with my progress. Look for your rack to make its first appearance in ROaD within the next few days.

Expect more soon,

Robert

Hope it helps get you on the path to not only running racks but understanding the real physics behind the break. Was glad to send it to you...

Only advice I can give you is if you end up with a bad set of balls push forward on the template and the weight of the balls and friction from the template should get you all snugged up and good to go...

Nothing like going to a pool hall and getting a set of balls that should have been thrown out years ago or a table that someone has tapped in with a different set of balls =(

Looking forward to the next attempt and may try and join you if I ever get my table up........
