Run This (13)

Thanks Blackjack. Now that's a little clearer. I know you're not being a dickhead. I just didn't understand the triangle thing (so you want to remove balls that are WITHIN whatever triangle you decide on) or the reason you thought that the original layout was difficult---maybe it's not conventional, but you can see how easily it can be handled.
Perhaps the confusion occurs when you're teaching something based upon a nugget that you assume we know already. Like your triangle and it's shape.
Thanks for being more precise in your description. I do appreciate it. I'm not challenging you except to elaborate more. Peace!!

Dan, I agree it's a touchy shot. Maybe safer would be to play for the 15 in the upper right corner being sure to err by going beyond the angle. That way if you don't get a straight shot or a small enough angle to float up, you could go to the bottom side rail and back out to center table for the 14. But I see your way too.

I just don't like using those pockets uptable unless necessary, unless maybe you have a dead straight in, short shot on good sized pockets. The thing about Rempe that stuck with me, as I've said before, is that he'd much sooner go after a little more complicated position play and have a gimme shot, rather than go for the simple cue ball position and have to hit something less makeable.
