Runde cues

I just aquired a beautiful cue made by Bob Runde. I'll post pics later. Why are his cues so undervalued?. The guy is a legend and has been involved in cuemaking for decades. His work is top notch. He's like the Rodney Dangerfield of cuemakers. Someday he will be in the Cuemakers Hall of Fame. Why aren't people excited about his cues?.

A friend of mine and myself have cues on order with Runde. They are being made as we speak. I'm a modest collector, but my friend has had virtually every high end cue maker over time. His favorites are the Runde's in terms of workmanship and playability. My friend convinced me and I can't wait to get mine.

However, as far as being undervalued, it seems that his prices are pretty high on Ebay if you use that as a benchmark. If you do an internet search, I see his cues with price tags of $3k and more.

Regards,

Doug
