Check out Tate's ThePalmerCollector site. It has a section devoted to Schon. The s series S-8 is a bumperless hoppe esque cue

My Runde-era Schon has the Implex joint.

Seriously, I'd love to see it. Please post some pics. I'm guessing its an S series? What model do you have?

Some R series cues had the implex joint and some S series had the SS joint. I recently saw an R5 on Ebay that had the implex joint.

Give me as much information as possible please everything fit perfect and rolls not dead perfect shaft hits great and both look great the old style shaft and has the logo on the collar and I guess it was gold . I'm taking any offers and info on the cue if possible . Thanks guys

Their signature look are the rounded points.

I don't like them on any other cues except on a Schon.

I'm no expert on cues but I have hit schons , old and new. Not impressed. I just purchased a runde because of a sweet hit and sweet cue. I know everybody loves schon. I don't but I do love the runde. If you can find Nick Serdula, he a good seller.

If you are selling the cue, it should go in the For Sale section, not tacked on to a 12 year old post.
