Bob Runde was still there making cues in 86,87,88 with silver rings. Same cues as the 1st catalog just silver rings. The Runde era did not end in 85, you're just saying that silver rings are not 1st catalog. Correct?

Yes that is correct. You could order them after 85 but, they were the norm for the first catolog. Silver rings are a post 85 item.
These pre 85 cues are almost assured to have Bob Runde's hands on them
Schon was not that big then.
As were old Viking cues that started off with Gordon Hart making them in the basement. Look at them now ...
