Got a chance to read through the book about Danny Basavich at a bookstore a few days ago.....it was a pretty good read.....kinda reminded me of "Playing off The Rail".....quite a few adventures in matching up.........I recommend it...near the end it tells about how he beat Earl hill-hill for a tournament championship.....I wonder if he is still actively playing?

Danny still plays. He is up and down depending on how he is dealing with his demons that day. Sad to say, so many very good players I grew up with and around are suffering the same fate. They dedicated there whole being to pool and got very little results, money wise, and saidly they turned to other means to drown their sorrows, but as we already know this route never works.
