I asked Russ to build me the cue very similar to one of his older cues that is posted in Blue Book in Pool Cues with differences in wood and inlays materials.
So,the cue was finally finished 3 weeks ago and I received it a few days ago.
The cue looks fantastic and all workmanship is top notch.
The balance is perfect as well and the leather wrap he choosed for the cue looks fabulous.I asked him for one standard Maple shaft and for one of his High Performance shafts and wood used in both shaft is 1st class.
So,I am more than satisfied and the cue meets all my expectations and even more.

Have to say that RUSS was great to deal with and all of our communication was top notc all way thru.
He is a real gentleman and really nice and humble guy.
By the way the cue was finished in time he said it would be,so thank you Russ once again for fabulous cue and smooth deal and nice conversations we had.

So,I just tried how does it play and play fanatstic.
Has very stiff hit.Exactly as I like it.It is very consistent and moves cueball so easily:)
Suppose some time will be needed what shaft do I prefer better,standard Maple or Russ's High Performance shaft:):):)
 
Can't say enough how satisfied I am with the way this cue has turned out:smile::smile::smile::wink::smile::smile::smile:
