We sell Russian Billiard Balls

Hi,

It seems like everybody is very confused about the sizes and availability of Russian Billiard Ball sets
We sell them both here in US:
Standard ones (68 mm) by Aramith for $300 and also Taiwan made sets (68 mm) if you are looking for a budget buy - $150
Smaller size (60.3 mm) for 8' tables by Aramith - $145 and Taiwan made as well - $98.

Any questions about Russian Billiard ? Let us know; we specialize in it in US and Canada. Check our website for more info.
Or just call us at 224-628-2921

Hello, Baltic -

I have an Aramith 68mm set of the Russian Pyramid balls and they play fine on a standard Brunswick 4x8 rail. I was after the game dynamic and rule differences and "look" of the larger white numbered balls together with the added challenge of the effective tighter pockets. I imported mine, but I'd recommend calling Baltic Billiards. Have fun! Everyone loves playing the game.

One other thought for you, BlackFlagSailor - I have collected numerous ball sets - all in the 2.25" size to play best on my Brunswick. From the Blackball/Casino set to Snooker and Baseball set to name a few. You will absolutely love the variations. Be careful though - collecting becomes a passion then the dreaded obsession 😁

Speaking of great ball sets - I have a Baseball set replicating the 2011 World Series game 7 re-match between the Texas Rangers and St Louis Cardinals (where the Rangers didn't win) listed in the For Sale section $165 shipped.

Hi blackflagsailor,

I didn't read the whole thread...I was just wondering if you are still searching for such Russian Pyramid balls? I can help you out if you need some :)

what can you find? I may be interested

Sorry I didn't answer until now...I just didn't see you wrote back...just send me a PM next time...

I can get you a set of Pyramid balls...thats what you asked for I guess? I work in a shop and we sell them....

What exactly do you need?

I've learned a TON since posting this topic. Both on here from helpful folks as well as doing my own research. Please excuse my early ignorance on this topic.

It is now my dream to own a full sized 12ft Russian table. I have a passion for this sport and would love to learn how to play. Sadly, there are no Russian tables anywhere for miles.

I also wish there were some better resources for following this sport and well as supplies for international enthusiasts like me. This in pretty much in the dark in the US. Occasionally you might see Snooker or Carom (3-cushion), but Russian Billiards is almost a never.

I do own a set of 2 1/4" Russian style billiard balls. I really only wanted these for the novelty of playing on an American table with a unique set of billiard balls. As for actually playing Pyramid, I would love to someday get or build a 12ft table with the correct 68mm ball set. There's no other way to really experience this sport.

When I come to the US, for instance, you can go to Brighton Beach and play all the Pyramid you want.

@tommyceilings: cheers from the other side of the globe! :D

NY is probably one of the best places to find Russian Billiards. But out here on the west coast there is nothing. Maybe in California but not Washington. Too bad... :(

Strickland is good. I like Willie Mosconi also.
