Rustoleum Neverwet

Kobachi

Scarred but Smarter
Hi cue builders,

I saw a segment about this new product, Rustoleum Neverwet. Cool product with many applications apparently. Very interesting.

I'm curious about if this can be used to seal wood for you guys to help maintain a dryness level. I know wax has been used to seal the ends of pieces.

Can this product be used in any other applications for you guys?

Just thought I'd share, here's a cool video of the product:

Edit: I wonder how smooth this would be on a finished shaft. Hmmmm....

Pretty neat stuff. The nano-technology used is silicone-based, so I'd keep it far away from anything that needs finish.

It may work as a shaft-slicker and sealer, but apparently the current version leaves a haze. A clear version is in the works.
