There was a great player around these parts who used to carry his cue into the pool
room with a case like this,it seemed as if a hush came upon the place when he carried
this case,no frills or bags or pouch for this man,pure business and pure class
One day in particular a certain maiden from a business establishment in the same area came
in with her friends from her father's office to celebrate the birthday of one of the girls
She didn't belong in a pool room,and it was evident to all,many offered her admiring glances
and a few bold pioneer types even suggested liquid refreshment. she declined with a demur
smile and a sweet nod.
Nothing offensive or cruel but it made a statement that said,if you think I am
one of these bawdy commoners,think again.
Into the arena walked Jim with a beautiful hand crafted Rusty Melton case like we
are discussing, the afore mentioned maiden of breeding and family could not help
herself from admiring the case.
She whispered "what is that gentleman carrying in the handsome leather case?"
A friend calledJim over and he showed both cue and case,she said Now that is nice
Well it has been years since Jim was seen in this place,his wife and children are often
seen coming and going to the business ,but jim and her father actually run the place now.
Legend has it that under glass in the front room of his office with bear skin rug, elephant tusk
and beautiful hunting pictures is a Rusty Melton case housing a Balabushka with a few simple designs
No one will ever know what she saw in him that first time,but we all know what she saw in his hand
Fickle is fame,fleeting is opportunity,when taken at the onset and perused with vigor,
a simple yet elegant handmade piece of art and function for $320 might open doors for you that
we will never travel unless you take that first step that separates you from the common herd

,he was heard to say"When I saw Deanoc's thread I didn't ask for pictures
I grabbed the phone,I knew Dean had a policy of returning if not pleased,but
I knew Deano
If it was his kind of thing,I just knew
I would like it
Meanwhile Soer Pus Paul missed out on the same thread,he could have called
but he didn't ,.His life went from common to below average, t be defended his bad decision with
a hackneyed phrase "a case won't make me play any better" or some such drivel
