Raildriver said:Any suggestions on getting ferrules like new would be greatly appreciated Especially difficult appears to be the linen-based type which always seem to have deep leftover deposits. Thanks, Raildriver.
I will be distributing to the ACA & ICA members at the Super Billiards Expo a new ferrule material of ours (Saber-T). This ferrule material will be introduced in to the market at the BCA Trade Show.
The material has the following characteristics:
Sands like wood
Stays clean
Polishes very smooth
Snowy white in color
Similar to Ivor-X however, not as rigid (plays more like Ivorene-III)
Not linen-based (more like a plastic)
We have put this stuff through the motions and it passes with very high marks in all areas. This stuff will be the standard on the "New & Improved" X-Laminated shafts as well.
If any of you are interested in taking a look at this stuff, or getting a sample, come over to our booth.
