Wondering who locally I can take some cues to be looked at and have some repairs done.
I have tried calling Coker cues since I live near that shop, but no one answers.
Thanks!

Ask the people at Hardtimes and The Jointed Cue. Maybe go during a tournament and ask some of the players. The local makers that come to mind are Kenny Koo and Rick Chudy, but I don't know if they do repair work. Also ask at Buffalo Billiards in Petaluma. A cue repair guy shows up monthly at Crown in San Ramon, but I don't have his contact info. And there is Johnny Donoho who does tips/repairs at Cal in Fremont.

just send them to proficient billiards and tell them what you want. they do great work and reasonable and quickly.

no bullshit with your cue being held hostage for months in some guys cellar with nothing being done.
Ditto.👍💡

Buffalo in Petaluma is not an option. There is a real nice kid who the local players use for tips and ferrules ( he has a hightower lathe) but he's still relatively new to it so refinishing isn't in his wheelhouse quite yet.

Rick Chudy is very good, he did some repair work on one of my cues back in the mid 90's. If he's still in business I would recommend him highly!
