I am over here trying to get Saddams old job, they won't give it to me. I think that is the worlds ultimate job, dictator of a country, I could do that, why not.

I would vote for you, but under one condition...that you promise to hold the World Pool Championship at one of Saddam's old palaces.

Imagine playing on solid gold tables under 200 foot high ceilings and very low humidity...

At one time or another Saddam provided big name terrorists with shelter, money, training camps, equipment,etc. He has showed us he will use chemical weapons on anybody ie Iranians and Kurds. It was just a matter of time before he got nukes or gave WMD to terrorists if they don't have them already from him.

Of course, western states (the US included, but being in the UK, I should acknowledge 'our' role in it too) have provided big name terrorists with vast resources too, and they've don it a lot more and on a much larger scale than Saddam.
Pinochet, Bin Laden, Hussein himself, to name just a few.

Mass genocide and overhaul of democracy in Chile, support of Saddam's use of chemical weapons - hell, we even supplied him!
Back when he was our friend, of course...

Whatever Saddam deserves for those crimes, half the 'old boys' of the American administration, along with plenty of other western politicians, should get it too.

Talking about Mugabe and oil is a pretty moot argument because he has never been known to give foreign terrorists aid.

Umm Metzger, there is another country out there that has a history of aiding and abetting terrorists. The IRA for years gathered funds, weapons, and political support in Boston and New York. But of course they were called freedom fighters then.
