Hi fellows
)
after watching and editing many videos in the last year i really wondered a bit. Almost everyone knows, that i had a 10years "off-time". And it is totally clear to me, that the game 14-1 changed a bit if it s around the style to play. For sure i don t want to start here a discussion about what is better or not.
But what really was confusing me is, that i saw often situation on vid or even in real-life when it was about safety-play on a frozen rack. I always prayed my students or friends to play a safety the way, that take advantage from it. And setting the opponent under real pressure. This begins in my opinion ALWAYS especially if it s about to play a safety onto a frozen rack. usualy you re always able to let whitey frozen on the rack and let in best case 2 object balls rollin out-this makes it extremly hard for your opponent because 2 sides of the table are almost *dead* for him, to roll whitey somewhere into the kitchen.
Are the guys nowaday just *out of knowledge* ? I really searched for an idea. This happened in some situations in the latley played qualfiers. I can t believe, that such advanced players (which should start at a qualifieer to the worlds) don t know how to play a safety onto a frozen rack and putting pressure onto the opponent.
Frozen-Rack Safeties are the first to learn if you learn 14-1!
