A rare find Sailor cue by Frank Stellman. Frank was a world class straight pool player in the 50s and 60s and due to a lack of cues that he liked he started making his own. His policy was he wanted to see you play and then he would make a real custom cue just for you. Most of his cues are simple with a rare one being very fancy.
This cue is a 59 inch signed both butt and shaft. A second shaft was made and it is 29.5 inches
His unmistakable Butt sleeve really sets of the overall cue.
This is a simple but beautiful converted 4 pointer. The cues shows little play and does have small chip on the sleeve and well as other small marks that you really have to look for.
The butt is 29" 15.41 oz. and 5/16x18 threads
Original shaft is 30" long 3.63 oz and tip size of 12.35 mm
Shaft 2 is 3.8 oz 29.5 inches long and 12.55 tip.
The original shaft and butt pretty straight apart but has a small shaft wobble together. Not bad for 60-70 year old cue. The 2nd shaft rolls straight and does not lift off the table.

I cue still plays great and no wonder they still have a good demand.
