Would be a dream to qualify, I just went down the fashion pool hall last night where the qualifiers aregoing to be held and it was fantastic. I was the first foreigner they had seen and I ended up going out with the owner for a few beers and helping teach some of the staff English!
Tables are loose and super fast for the qualifiers, its going to make for some high percentage run outs

I wasn't planning on it, I was going to head back to NYC after playing in hard times somehow I managed to still have more money than when I arrived in the states (very strange after about 6 weeks of hotels and partying!) so I thought why the hell not!!!!
I just got a spot in the Korea comp too so that should be cool, makes the expense of coming to Asian a little more justified.
Anyway, pool hall was packed tonight with some great players, even Max Erberle was there. I got a bye but I play a Taiwanese player at 10am. Its 12:30, Ive only had two beers and I'm off to bed - how goods that LOL!)
I will try and keep you guys updated as I have ADSL in my room (and free!)

It's too bad for Santos but your right Craig it certainly helps your chances of qualifying and with ten spots available your chances are looking pretty good. Won't be easy though there looks like there will be some stiff competition at the qualifiers. Best of luck starting Sunday!
