I am postin this to see if there is any interest in this early 60's(to the best of my knowledge) cue that is hand carved with mother of pearl inlay, and no it is NOT made in CHINA. This was a Portugal based cue maker was in business for 90 years. Here is a link to the brief history of the maker of the cue (https://store.bluebookinc.com/InstantAccess/Category.aspx?product=7&id=383). This Cue is in in excellent to near mint condition.
Level 3 "The Navarro"
- Maple forearm, four full-spliced hand engraved hardwood points, leaf pattern carved hardwood handle, hardwood butt sleeve with mother-of-pearl dots around center.
Here is another site to see what it looks like.

I'm thinking this cue is extremely rare, all the local research and Billiard knowledgeable people in my area have never heard of this maker and I have searched the internet for hours to get more of a background on this cue and maker. This is all i have gotten thus far. Please if you know any more back ground on or interested lets talk!!!!

Always interest here....

These are cool cues; however, posting pictures of the actual cue plus, listing an asking price are generally essential elements to making a sale here -- Best of luck with your sale

I might be interested. Sampaio was not only an accomplished Portuguese cuemaker but also manufactured billiard tables. Email me at ajmaninha@gmail.com with pics, price and condition of the cue.

sorry about the pics, been trying to upload some pics but the file size allotment is too small to see the detail that is invested into the cue forearm! i would be willing to send emails of the pics if anyone is truly interested. I don't even know what a fair price would be to start i have gotten hold of a blue book value through a billiard guy in my area and its stating around 600 for the complete and orginial stick. The forearm is all original and stamp/engraved with the Sampaio name near the top of the cue along with Portugal. It appears to have no wobble on the roll.
