U guys betting on games and stuff ,,bet on yourselves ! Where in San Antonio are y'all playing ? Pocket full of cash and love playing strangers !!
San Antonio is a military based city. Because of that, there is not a lot of gamblin' money around.
$20 to $100 sets (9 ball, 10 ball) or $20 one pocket are common, but anything over that is rare.
Once or twice a YEAR, a couple of players will match up to play a $500 or $1000 set which usually attracts 50-60 spectators.
One other thing, beat one of the better players for a couple of hundred when you first get here and the word will spread like wildfire. The town will be dead for you unless you give up some serious weight.
Gambling was so bad in San Antonio 30 years ago, road players would not even stop here and head on to Dallas or Houston.
