Sanctioning Our League

C Arnold… you know who I am. We have been friends in the past. The irony is that the same people you have associated with used to rag you down. I am embarrassed to say that I should have told what they thought about you. and I didn’t. If you knew what they had thought about you, it would probably change your relationship with them.

I know what they have thought about me. It is well documented. But It is awkward for me to think that they think of you differently now that you have aligned with them. Think back on how I related to you and they to you.You might understand better.

Sorry you have taken the path that your on. But you will see down the road who these people are, because they will again view you talk behind your back ect.. as they once did, my friend Craig.

Craig you have a ways to go... to go beyond the place you are at right now. I can’t tell you what to do but I think you have hope. I have always thoght you had promise. Read the parable of the Cave. It will enlighten you. And you will be able to apply it to youself.

Olympics~ What a crock! Again I ask, If John Lewis could make it happen, why didn't he do it when we paid him that outrageous $70.000 a year job for the BCA? What was stopping him from doing his job then?

Speaking about his $70,000 a year job. What is the ACS paying him? Since you all are non for profit, it is of public record. This is a good question to ask. Don't you all really want to know? Now, does anyone really think that he is working out of the goodness of his heart? You all are paying him weather you know it or not. Believe me, if you all are somewhat smart, you will ask for detailed bookkeeping of this new ACS because I can assure you that the IRS is just waiting to see what's going on there.

"Build it and they will Come" sound familiar? Was it John Lewis or Kevin Costner that said it? Geez, I really get the two mixed up! Maybe it was John Costner or Kevin Lewis. Regardless, he even borrowed that catch phrase as he as borrowed EVERYTHING else.

John Lewis makes what he made with the BCA, that's no secret? John Lewis was not the dictator of the BCA League System he was it's employee. He did not make policy.

When the BCA moved to Colorado Springs it was to be close to the USOC. They hired Steve Ducoff to guide them through the process of gaining USOC approval. In 2003 four pro players were named as player reps to sit on the board of directors of the BCA (Paul Gerny, Leslie Ann Rodges, Vicky Pasci and Belinda Campos as part of the condition of recognition by the USOC. The Board of the BCA never allowed them in to a meeting. The USOC saw this for what it was and told the BCA to reaply in 2007 for recognition. By selling the League they (the Board of Directors of the BCA) have abandoned this goal.

As to whether the BCA had the right to sell the league is a good legal question? We'll probably never know the real answer since know one started a class action suit. That would preceed the question of any ones right to buy it. I don't blame Mark for buying it. He knows that we talked about. If I was in his position I probalbly would do the same thing.

As far as the Olympics themselves the IOC has it's own problems of pro vs amatuer competition. I am not here to debate that. I have alot of opinions as to what is right and wrong there but I am not involved their...and it cracks me up that the USA Basketball team got Bronze by mostly luck.

Andrew we are kindred spirits, altruists with fairly thick skins who are true to their word. I have always appreciated your nature to step in when necessary the WBPPA would not survive without you. I will walk my path and you will walk yours in the end they may lead to opposite sides of the same door.

You miss-stated things here. 1) We all have gotten it for a long time. 2) We all believe in pool in the Olympics we just understand it to be done more realistically 3) we all say that the BCA trade group made mistakes but very much so did the people who organized ACS as a result of it. 4) To say that "us who don’t get it " (Meaning myself and the others who have responded to posts) haven't researched the facts is like someone saying your name isn't Craig Arnold. Wait I should check this out …Is your name Craig Arnold?? Again my facts are right.

It isn’t that problematical to find out truths even with the barrage of spin from ACS. I have never posted anything I wasn’t sure about!! I never even said anything about how much John Lewis was being paid by ACS because I wasn’t sure what that amount was. If your facts are right he is getting the same pay as before from the membership fee’s.

The people posting here are very well informed. Trying to convince a newbie that we haven’t research the facts because they may not know any better is a tactic that won’t work. I have never posted anything that wasn’t truthful, from the state association presidents conspiracies, the firing of John Lewis, the profit VS. non-profit issue, What ACS did in Texas, Florida, Wisconsin and Oregon. The holding back of bank accounts to BCA voted associations. The early vote in Minnesota why that happened. When referees and some select key ACS association members knew about the sale and their not informing the rank and file. Some of the information I collected came out of your mouth (you being a referee and all that). There are many other truths much of which has been previously posted. …….Anyone can expect when people post goofy Sh$% I will respond. I walk the line.....I watch the line....
