Have a few questions.

1. Has anyone been there? How was it? Experiences?

2. This year it is 11/26 - 11/28 and is stated as "National Team Open". Is this truely an Open event? I found another internet site which gave the impression it was a BCA event and stated that 3 of 4 players must belong to the same league with proof.

3. Can 4 guys just put a team in regardless of belonging to any leagues/organizations?

Thanks for any information you provide.

Hi Perk,

I have palyed in it and yes it is a very fine tournament. Thanksgiving night they have a 9 ball tourny generally over 100 people play in it. As for the open you don't have to be part of the BCA, But yes you are right 3 of 4 players have to be part of a league organization. The league does not have to be sanctioned (like by apa, bca etc etc) It can be a local league even if it is out of state. You will need some kind of proof and the 3rd player can be anyone they call them the wild card. The wild card cannot play a match deciding game like a hill hill match. I am playing in it next week I have three players looking for a 4th. Any more questions you can always pm me.....

Perk are you coming to play in the Thnaksgiving Tourny even if you don't have a team.. Generally there is over 100 people in the 9 ball tourny....

Candyman,

Cant make it this year. Found out about it too late. I am going to a partners tourney in Traverse City this weekend at a Casino, and next week I will need to be a family man.

Talked it over with a couple friends/teamates, and I think we might give it a try next year. Sounds fun, probably alot of action. Good luck this year, and fill me (us) in on some results or action stories of the weekend.

Later..

We'll do Perk and there is another one coming up in Sandusky right around end of March begginning of April you might want to consider.. Same format.

Any results/action?

I'm interested, too....is there a player roster on-line somewhere?

Thanks,

Sorry for the delay it was a very long weekend. DennyS is going to b getting the brackets from the tourny director and hopefully he will get them posted.... We got in the money and thats about it. Adam Smith won the friday 9 ball tourny. Adams team made it to Sunday his team had Adam, Jason Kirkwood, Chris Bartrum and McWorter. Dee Adkins had a team there.A Canadian team played very strong. I will tell DennyS to get the brackets posted soon.......

National team open is open , to my knowledge none of them play in league. That particular team did finish 3rd in the event. They lost to another great team out of Canton, Ohio. Then the Canton team had to play a team out of Toledo, Ohio. Unfortunately i had to leave just before the finals.

Denny we had to furnish our league roster to get in.. The only reason Mike could play with us is because we sed him as our wild card. 3 of the 4 people that play on a team have to be part of the same league.... But from my understanding if you play for example apa and form a team you can potentially have players from 4 diiferent states thay consider that league. Since apa is a huge organization.

Who ended up winning?

What kinda payouts were involved for team play? I noticed the entry fee included hotel fees. Thanks in advance.
