Since you are both from the Chicago area I was wondering if you ever run into Glen Rogers. I have talked with him via phone and he seems like a really nice guy, very upbeat and optimistic.

Hi Pelican,

Yes, I do know Glen Rogers a.k.a. Piggy. I run into him at tournaments every once in a while. He is giving lessons now in the Chicago area. You have described him perfectly. He is a true gentlemen and asset to the sport.

Take care,
Sarah

Gonna meet him

I am really lookin' forward to meeting him and watching him play in the Ring Bank Game that is a part of Grady Mathews Gulf Coast Classic next December in Gulfport, MS. Full rack banks with no safe play since it is ring. Sounds like it was made for Glen :) . You ought to put it on your schedule. Dec 8-12. Gonna be a lot of pool played.

Wow, I think that game was made for him. He sure has enough fire power. Do you know who else will be playing in the banks ring game?

It sounds like a pretty exciting tournament. I will have to look into it. Thanks for reminding me about it.

Take care,
Sarah

Wish you could work it into your schedule. Would love to meet you in person. From reading your postings you strike me as a very nice, intelligent, and level headed young lady that is far wiser than her years. Me, I'm just an old, fat, ugly pelican :p

Good evening my dear, Pel

Hey Pel,

Thanks for the info and the kind words. I will have to go to Grady's website to check some stuff out. I would like to play in the 9ball tournament.

I have never travelled down that way. I could see some old friends that I'm pretty sure you know.

Take care,
Sarah

You come on down. I'd be proud to stake ya to a bit of action (if'n we can find any ;) )
