I'm moving to Sarasota in a few weeks and wondered also if there are any leagues with good atmosphere (fun, social, no cheating or sandbagging for tournaments, and so on). What do you think?
 
When I was there it was a good area for pool.
However I hear a few rooms have closed.
There use to be a nice bar league and tournament scene also.
Independent league, VNEA, and TAP.
No APA the last operator had run off with the money from what I heard.:frown:
It's been 6 or so years. Don't know about now.
Check with forum member Pii. He is from there.
 
you can try to message PI he's from those parts. i tried to meet up with him last ime i was down there but our schedules didnt match up
