Bob, this picture made my brain hurt a little! Does anyone have any experience playing this variant? It seems like a neat idea, how does it play?

No need for the special set of balls, just drop the 7/15 out of a regular set and carry on..

The game is fun once in awhile, but I usually play on 9ft tables where I think the game strategy is overpowered. To safe your opponent, you only need to hide them from one particular ball, and it's not the same ball you need to play from. On smaller tables the lack of real estate keeps the play interesting most of the time, but on a big table I think the game mechanics get out of whack.
