Sardo rack.

I found it to make a tight rack, but didn't find it to be fast.
If you marked the table like you were supposed tot was pretty fast and easy.

It wasnt so much the pushing the balls down as much as it was the rack being in the same exact spot every time. If you lined the rack up with the marks, the balls would settle into the same dents in the cloth everyt ime and the rack would end up being pretty tight.

I have one (the last model they made when the IPT was big) and found it great for practice. Same with the template racks, great for practice to give yourself a good rack without having to mess with the balls and kill your back leaning over the table.

Sardo was another Pool Gimic, that made money for someone else who hook all the Pool SUCKER Fish. Racking is easy with Triangle, just take practice.

Friend had one, gave to me, it was BPIA to Carry Around, it did draw on lookers when using, but sold off to cover postage to get out of my home.

Only cool thing about the Sardo rack relates to a t-shirt my wife got me. She had no idea what the image was and neither did I until finding it was the Sardo rack blueprint patent diagram. I get more comments from passerbys on that shirt than any other.

I find noise issues with Delta racks lie with vigorous shake and bake racking methods. My steps to quieting down the clang:

1. Gather the balls
2. Scoop them into a pyramid or 9-ball shape with your arms and/or near the spot
3. Place rack with care over the balls
4. Abstain from mindlessly shaking everything back and forth (pyramid racking only)
5. Tighten with hands
6. Remove rack

that's the most niche pool t-shirt i've heard of. i have a W.W.E.D.? t-shirt and that's gotten some questions, not least from the evangelical christian relatives of my significant other, but a sardo blueprint t-shirt is next level niche lol

Sardo doesnt work well on tables that it has not been set up on. Taking it around to different tables you will face the same challenges (probably more) as getting a tight rack with a standard triangle rack.

For use on a personal table, where the table has been setup for use with a Sardo, it was pretty easy to use and fast then trying to get a tight rack with a triangle.

Like I said, great for practice if you just want a tight rack, quick.

1000%

I have all the respect for anyone who puts their time, energy and money into a biz.

Like many ideas, the sound better in paper than they are in life. Who would have thought a simple plotter cutting a thin template rack would have become the real solution?

Best
Fatboy<——still likes traditional wooden racks
It is very difficult and takes way more time than anybody realizes, especially with new inventions.

Curious why some folks are adamant that tapping the balls is terrible.

I’ve always tapped my table at home and the balks rack great every-time.

What’s the big down side? Serious question

It’s terrible in a public setting. After so many different people whack the head ball where they think it should be, it wallows out a pothole.

I’ve used the sardo and did not like it. Very cumbersome and I thought I got a better rack out of a normal triangle.

My table is tapped and no one whacks balls at my house except me.

Oh wait, that didn’t come out right..lol

Which is why it works for you.

There was this guy that got yelled at for doing it. His OCD kicked in and he would touch the head ball and pretend to tap it a couple times.

I have a Sardo 5000 and I have used it to rack balls 3 times. What a pain to use! Now I just use a Delta Elite and it racked in 3 seconds. The Sardo 5000 is on the wall as an ornament piece. Pretty cool on the wall!
