Wondering if anyone knows the best place to play in Saskatoon, preferably with decent snooker tables. I have the good fortune of spending a week there soon, thanks.

I dont know but DaveK on the forums is from that dreadful place and should be able to help you out. :)

Downtown - Pacific Billiards on 1st Ave N (by Queen St.)

East side - Snooker Shack on 8th St (just east of Acadia Dr.)

West Side - Bad Beavers in the Confederation Park Mall, enter from Confederation Drive (formerly Matchroom Billiards)

All have good snooker tables. Pacific would be my first choice, and they should be reopening sometime next week after moving from a few blocks away. All tables have been recovered in the process, and should be in fine form. The place is managed by a Canadian Snooker Champion, and gets the better players hanging about. PM me if you'd like details, more info, to meet at a hall etc.. I'd offer to play, but not snooker, it's too big for little old me.

Saskatoon is quite dreadful in the winter, bring your mittens and toque.

Thanks DaveK, I will be out there for the week of Jan 14th. I will check out Pacific as it seems to be close to where I am working. I will let you know, I play pool too :)

It had better be open then, we're supposed to have a 'league tournament' on the 15th for the cash that had been accumulated in the first 4 weeks of league. The rest of the weeks were not played due to the move. I was in first place at the time
