Just looking for comments on the 3-Cushion area.

What was right?
What was wrong?
What can we do to make it better.

I think it was great that you guys are promoting the game. I watched perhaps a total of 60 minutes of 3C through the 4-day event and I also stayed to watch Mazin with the kids. I didn't get the impression an student like myself can approach the 2 tables to play. I ended up spending a few bucks playing Hugo Patino at the Molinari booth, not for the Revo raffle, but for the experience.

I found the 3-Cushion area to be more accessible/inviting than previous years (NJ Convention Center, in a separate room).

Maybe add a flat panel screen to advertise upcoming show tournaments and re-play matches?

It was enjoyable to play against Hugo Patino at the Molinari booth for about 30 min. I ran 5 points against him (my highest run) and it was basically a free lesson.

Watching Miguel Torres perform exhibition shots was great.

3kushn... NastyNate13, might have something.

Maybe Hold an Artistique 3C Event with Torre, Shooni, Rossman, Massey, and others. There three (maybe 4) people that could do the Event/Tournament. Paul Frankel, Yesyura, Tom Paley, and maybe Dennis Dieckman

That isn't a bad idea. Something to think about at any rate.
With the Qualifiers being played till 4pm and Yura's race to 5 at 7pm it certainly didn't lend time for open play.

On Friday we introduced the kids to the tables and also introduced the game of 5Ball. 5Ball became the main game played between the 2 tournaments.

There's just so many hours in the day and for me I had to ask Charlie Brown to schedule my games late since I'd likely not get to bed before 3 or 4am.

Although there was good reason to hold the Qualifiers I'd like to spend some of that time allowing the pool crowd to experience the game.

BTW 5Ball is a good game. I almost always tried to carom 3 balls, causing me to miss completely. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
I bought a set of balls for home so maybe my son will get on the table more often. Will likely buy another for travel to introduce to the rooms where I go.
