I'm copying this thread from the Cue Gallery because I'd like to extend an invitation to any contributors to this forum. Would love to see some of the cuemakers make it. It should be a great time. The original thread is here:

This is a formal announcement for anyone intersted in attending dinner at Sullivan's on Friday, March 20th, 2009...during the Super Billiards Expo in Valley Forge, PA.
I'm posting this in this section, because it tends to be one of the more civilized sections of the forums and its where I expect to get the least amount of grief for being off topic. LOL It's also something that started in this forum as compliment to so many people's generous involvement in bringing Alton Takata to the Expo from Hawaii.
I wanted to put together a dinner for the purposes of providing an atmosphere for everyone to get together over some drinks, cigars, and one fine ass meal...away from the pooltables and dealer/cuemaker exhibits. This is of course open to anyone attending the show. I just ask everyone be on their best behavior, and have a good time.
I know the Expo is months away...but the event is only 4 days long, and with events, travel, and everything else...it's very necessary to plan something like this with as much advance preparation as can be afforded.
Monday through Friday, the dining area doesn't take seating until 5:30. The bar area, however, is open from 11 A.M. through closing. This place tends to get jammed up fast on Fridays and Saturdays. My intentions are to either book the library in the back of the restaurant...or we can just wing it at the bar. Which route will depend on how many plan on attending. For the time being...I plan on having things kick off at 4PM. We can start in the bar, and carry on to the dining room when it's open if necessary. If the turnout is on the soft side...we could just very well hole up in the bar for the duration.
Commitments to attend should be posted publicly. I think this will give everyone an idea of whom they can reasonably expect to see.
Any other questions can be directed to me via PM, or call me at 610.812.5644
I've provided a link below to Sullivan's that give directions, and contact information for the location in King of Prussia. It's about 5-7 minutes from the Expo, and they do provide valet parking.

I hope tons of you can come along. I'd love for this to be something we can carry on for years ahead.

If you don't attend...it'll go to Sullivan's. Payment must be made by February 14th. My PayPal address is haydendodgemccall@gmail.com When payment has been remitted, I will mark you as "paid" on the roster in the first post of this thread. This will be cut off at 90 people max.
